ISA Highlights 2023’s Top Athlete Card Submissions: Ohtani, Jordan, and Wembanyama Lead the Pack

ISA (International Sports Authority) takes pride in its continued leadership in the sports card grading industry in 2023. This year, a fascinating trend has emerged in card submissions, with MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani leading the pack. Despite his recent jaw-dropping $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ohtani’s cards have become the most submitted to ISA for grading. His dominance is undeniable, as he holds four spots in the top 10 most graded sports cards of 2023.

While Ohtani’s popularity remains unparalleled, basketball legend Michael Jordan continues to hold a significant presence in the world of card submission. The list of top athletes whose cards have been submitted to ISA for grading in 2023 includes a mix of legendary figures and rising stars. Alongside Ohtani and Jordan, some familiar names grace the list:

– Julio Rodriguez

– Trevor Lawrence

– Joe Burrow

– Tom Brady

– Kobe Bryant

– LeBron James

– Ken Griffey Jr.

– Victor Wembanyama

The assortment of the most graded sports cards of 2023 showcases an array of talent, with several cards from Ohtani proving highly sought-after.

In the realm of football, there have been notable increases in card submissions for specific players. Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has experienced a remarkable 119% increase in card submissions compared to the previous year. Close behind is Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence, with a 98% increase. Notably, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce has also seen a significant uptick in submissions, which may be influenced by his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.

Rookie cards continue to be a hot commodity in card grading submissions across all sports. In basketball, rookies Paolo Banchero and Victor Wembanyama lead the pack in card submissions. Meanwhile, in football, Kenny Pickett and Brock Purdy stand out among the rookies. In baseball, rising stars Elly De La Cruz and Adley Rutschman top the list of most submitted rookie cards.

At ISA, we are thrilled to continue providing top-notch grading services for these highly valuable sports cards and many others. As the industry evolves, we remain at the forefront, ensuring fairness and accuracy in the grading process. Whether it’s the extraordinary performance of Shohei Ohtani, the everlasting legacy of Michael Jordan, or the rise of promising newcomers like Victor Wembanyama, ISA is here to recognize and preserve the value of these iconic pieces of sports memorabilia.
