INDYCAR Partners with Parkside Cards for New Trading Card Series in 2024

As the 2024 INDYCAR season approaches, fans of the popular open-wheel racing circuit have an extra reason to get excited. INDYCAR has announced a three-year partnership with Parkside Cards to launch a new series of trading cards. This collaboration will not only offer fans a chance to collect their favorite INDYCAR stars but also provide opportunities for contests, giveaways, and even autographed memorabilia.

Set to launch on March 1, the INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be available to fans at race events, retail stores, and online. Parkside Cards plans to engage fans through various initiatives, making the race weekend experience even more enjoyable. This partnership aims to bring fans closer to the action and create interactive moments that celebrate the thrill of INDYCAR racing.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will include redemption cards for fans to win signed memorabilia from their favorite drivers. Additionally, a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500 will be up for grabs through an exciting contest. This offers fans a chance to experience the pinnacle of INDYCAR racing in person.

Parkside Cards, known for its card collections featuring the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding its portfolio with this new collaboration in the world of motorsports. The INDYCAR Collection will come in Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping. Each box will contain 20 packs, with eight cards in each pack. Notably, two autographed cards are guaranteed in each Hobby box. For fans looking for a more accessible option, retail hanger packs will feature 25 cards, with an autographed card included in every 18th pack.

What makes this trading card series unique is the inclusion of relic cards, which will contain actual pieces of bricks from the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This adds a tangible and valuable piece of racing history to fans’ collections, enhancing the overall experience of owning these cards.

The base set of the INDYCAR Collection spans 162 cards, featuring all the drivers from the INDYCAR series. In addition to the base set, there will be various thematic inserts, such as the 72-card Marquee Moments set, Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. With autographs available from 27 different drivers, collectors will have the opportunity to own a piece of their favorite driver’s legacy. The series will also include special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels, which will increase the collectibility of these cards.

Mark Miles, President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his excitement about the partnership with Parkside Cards. He emphasized the importance of trading cards as a means for fans to connect with their favorite sports stars, and he believes that the INDYCAR Collection will offer fans a dynamic way to engage with the sport’s personalities and talents.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR boxes are already underway, as the racing season is set to kick off in St. Petersburg, Florida, on March 10. This new venture between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards marks an exciting development for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike. With the launch of this new trading card series, fans can look forward to a fresh and interactive way to celebrate the thrill of INDYCAR racing. Whether it’s collecting their favorite drivers or participating in contests and giveaways, this partnership aims to make the INDYCAR experience even more memorable for fans worldwide.
