Topps March Madness Basketball Card Series

Topps has once again demonstrated its commitment to sports card collectors and enthusiasts by teaming up with the NCAA for the inaugural release of the March Madness Basketball Card Series. This exclusive series offers packs of eight cards, priced at $139.99 each, with a special treat—a guaranteed autograph card from a standout player.

Among the roster of impressive athletes featured in the series are the men’s Player of the Year, Zach Edey from Purdue, and the women’s Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark. Each pack includes the coveted autographed card, six base cards, and a parallel card numbered to 99 or fewer. The limited edition packs are available for purchase on Topps’ official website until Thursday, offering collectors a chance to own a piece of basketball history.

One of the exciting elements of the collection is the inclusion of dual autograph cards, with every tenth pack containing this rare find. These dual autographs feature pairings like Clark/Edey, Clark/Reese, Reese/Van Lith, and Sheppard/Dillingham, adding a unique touch to the series.

The star-studded lineup of the Bowman U NOW March Madness series showcases some of the most notable names in college basketball. From Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham of Kentucky to Caitlin Clark of Iowa, the collection boasts a concise list of 20 talented athletes who have agreed to be featured. The men’s side features players like Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, while the women’s side includes standout athletes such as Cameron Brink from Stanford and Paige Bueckers from UConn.

It is worth noting that Caitlin Clark’s presence in the Topps card series will come to an end on April 1, as she gears up for an exclusive trading card agreement with Panini America. Topps’ collaboration with the NCAA not only incorporates the iconic March Madness logo and branding into their products but also paves the way for future joint ventures that promise even more excitement for collectors.

Throughout the season, Topps has released over 120 Bowman U cards via the Topps NOW platform, with 61 cards showcasing college basketball talents, including Caitlin Clark. The series has captured the essence of college sports and the skill of up-and-coming athletes, offering fans a unique opportunity to collect cards featuring their favorite players.

By continuing to feature college players in its card series, Topps has managed to enrich the collector’s experience and celebrate the vibrancy of college sports. With the successful launch of the March Madness Basketball Card Series, Topps and the NCAA have set the stage for a new era of collaboration that is sure to excite basketball fans and collectors alike.
